BBTB2 - National Old Stuff Day

Happy Monday!!!
Welcome to another BBTB2 challenge!
It is my privilege to be hosting this week's theme.
I love how every day is National Something Day, and today is no exception!
It is National Old Stuff Day!
So fun!
So I thought we could dust off one of our cartridges that we haven't used in at least 6 months.
I pulled Nate's ABC's from a dark corner of my craft room and decided to make a cute baby card!
My paper comes from American Crafts
And my stamp is from Fiskars.

I added some buttons for the wheels and I popped up the image on some foam tape.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

BBTB2 - Clocks

Happy Monday!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Bitten by the Bug 2

Today over at BBTB2
the challenge is all about Clocks!

I decided to use the clock from Wrap It Up.
I basically stuck to the colors in the handbook and just
used papers from my scrap stash.

I used Elegant Edges for the mat.
My b/g papers come from We R Memory Keepers
Anthology 6x6 paper pack.

I used some flat back pearls from Recollections
to add a little balance.

I can't decide what type of card this will be,
but I am thinking either a Father's Day or Retirement Card.

I hope you will join us for this week's challenge
over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Decorate To Celebrate #94

Happy Wednesday!!!

Hope your week is going well!

we have a new challenge starting, and
remember as always, it's Anything Goes!

I decided to create a new St. Patrick's Day
decor piece.
I had my husband cut out a 7" x 11" piece of scrap MDF
we had in the garage.
I painted it with some Buttercream Acrylic Paint
then Mod Podged some cute Chevron paper (Hobby Lobby) to the front.

I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.

The Shamrocks are from Celebrate With Flourish (LOVE this cart).
The letters are from Lyrical Letters.
And they are cut out of cardstock (not vinyl).

I adhered them all with my ATG and Zig 2 Way Glue Pen.

I love how this turned out :)

I hope that you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate
for our new Anything Goes Challenge!

For my card today, I wanted to use this fun heart cut from
Lyrical Letters!
I've said it before, and I will say it again,
there are GEMS to be found on this cartridge!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

Anyway, I cut this heart out 2 times at 3 1/2",
once in light pink and once in hot pink.
I layered them together to create somewhat of a shadow effect.

I added some flowers from Recollections and Prima
and centered them with pearls.

I found the black lace in my stash and I love it!

The background mat is from My Mind's Eye.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge.

Decorate To Celebrate - "LOVE" Blocks

Happy Wednesday!!!

Welcome to another challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate!

How is your first week of February going?

Getting ready for Valentine's Day?!?!

I pulled out my decorations the other day and
was super excited to add this year's project!

I made some more decorative blocks.
LOVE these tiny decor pieces,
I have made several in the past for different holidays :)

I painted the blocks with a dark pink acrylic paint
then went over them again with a watered down white acrylic paint.

The paper is from My Mind's Eye and I used
Mod Podge to adhere it.

The letters are cut from some black cardstock
and they are from Cricut Classic Font.
The heart is from George and I used Wink of Stella
to add some shine to it.

I embellished the blocks with pearls from Recollections,
twine from American Crafts, and flowers from Studio G.

I really "love" how this turned out :)

I hope that you will join us over at Decorate to Celebrate for
another "Anything Goes" challenge!
