BBTB2 - Snow Day!

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone on the East Coast
has endured and survived the weekend!

Over at BBTB2 we have an appropriate
challenge for this week...
Snow Flakes!

And in honor of all those who enjoyed their
"Snow Day"
on Saturday, I created this card :)

I used Joys of the Season for the snowflake.
My papers are from American Crafts.
I pieced two stamps together to come up with
my sentiment.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

BBTB2 - Keepin' Cool

Happy Monday!

How is your January going? Cold? Mine too :)

Well, today over at BBTB2 we have another
appropriate Winter challenge,
but this week we want to see all those adorable
Penguin cuts that Cricut has created.

Simply Charmed has some of the cutest cuts
that I am rediscovering :)
This penguin is one of them,
there is even a girl version with a bow on her head!
SO CUTE!!!

Anyway, I decided to use the boy and cut his bow-tie out of
some blue glitter paper, which the pic doesn't quite depict.
And to make this little guy even cuter,
I put him on an Action Wobble :)

My paper comes from American Crafts, as well as the ribbon.
My sentiment comes from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Cut It Up! - New Year, New "Bag"innings

Happy Friday!

How are you all surviving the 1st week of the New Year?

Cut It Up

Well, today over at Cut It Up we have
a super NEW challenge....
Decorate a Paper Bag :)

Our Sponsor:
$20 Gift Certificate

I have never decorated a paper bag before,
I don't think I would have ever thought of it either :)

But I have to admit, I will probably do this A LOT
more often!!!
It's such an awesome idea for a gift bag!

And what an awesome way to use up some
scraps that are piling up in your craft room!
Seriously, do you have as many scraps as I do?!?!

So I pulled out 3 coordinating scraps, I am pretty sure they
came from a paper pack from Hobby Lobby.
Cut a fun tag from Art Philosophy out of some other scrap paper,
added a scallop border at the bottom, cut from Elegant Edges,
and used some Trendy Twine for the top.

The sentiment comes from My Craft Spot's
"Feel Better Soon" set which I LOVE!

All I need to do now is part with some of my chocolate stash,
fill up the bag and deliver it to someone who needs
a little pick me up!

I hope that you will join us over at Cut It Up
for our new challenge!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Decorate To Celebrate! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to another year of fabulous
Anything Goes Challenges

I thought I would start the year off with
a FUN New Year's Eve Shaker!
I saw some of these on Pinterest or on my FB feed,
I can't remember exactly, but I wanted to give them a try!

They are so super easy to make!
I just cut a pillow box from Art Philosophy
out of some fun New Year's paper,
sealed the top with Tombow Mono-Multi Glue, then
filled it full of pinto beans and sealed the bottom.

I covered the Popsicle stick with gold glitter paper,
then hot glued it very strategically
into the bottom of the pillow box :)

To top it off I tied a fun ribbon around it and added
a "Celebrate" sticker.

The kids had a hoot!

I hope you will join us and show off some
fun crafty projects :)
