Prize: $15 Gift Certificate
Thank you so much for your generosity!!

Here is my project:

My sister's birthday was yesterday and I
ordered her some fun eyeshadows from Younique.

Anyway, I wanted to package it super fun
so I created a present tag from TBB&M2
and a sentiment tag from Art Philosophy.

Purple is her favorite color,
so I found some fun purple glitter paper from The Paper Studio
and fancy pattern paper from DCWV.

Added some purple tulle and whalla!

Close up of the present tag

The sentiment tag is stamped with one of Tara's
Say It Big stamps "Happy Birthday".

Another view.

I hope that you will join us over at Cut It Up
for our Tags, Tags, Tags Challenge!

Decorate To Celebrate #87 - Too Cute To Spook!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Only 2 more days 'til Halloween!!!

Do you have any parties in store?
I have 2 that I am in charge of this year!
One for my son's Kindergarten class and one for
just my extended family at my house!
EEEK!!!
I've been busy!

Luckily, over at Decorate To Celebrate we are starting another
2 week Anything Goes Challenge that helped me get crackin' on
a project for one of the parties!
Hopefully you will be able to join us and show off
some of the fun projects you have been working on!

So here are the little party favor gift bags
I am putting together for all the kids in my son's class.
I wanted to keep it SUPER simple because I am making 30.
There are only 24 in the class, but I always want to make extra
just in case :)

The tag is cut from TBB&M and the ghost is from
Simply Charmed.

I used a PKS Everyday Face stamp for this cutie pie of a ghost.

The "Too Cute to Spook" sentiment comes from
Joy's Life Halloween Pun set.

The ribbon is from Michael's.

Here is a close up of the tag:

I can't help but think of all these tags getting ripped off
and thrown away, so I always go for
Simple and Cheap :)

The bag is full of a little box of tattoos I found at Wal-Mart,
a Glow Stick, two Halloween erasers, and two Dum Dum Suckers.

Hope the kids will like them!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

My Project:

Hey!!!
Happy Friday!!!

Today over at Cut It Up we have a super fun challenge
to help you get ready for Halloween!
But you don't have to necessarily create a Halloween project!
Just create a project using the colors
Purple, Orange, Lime Green and Black.
So yes, those are your typical Halloween colors,
but if you check out all the DT projects,
you can see that not all of them are Halloween related!

Mine of course is :)

I loved the sketch over at Mojo Monday this week,
so I have followed that and will enter this card for their challenge.
I will also enter this in over at

My papers come from lots of different paper packs,
so I am sorry that I don't know the names,
but I think there is some Basic Grey paper,
Ki paper and some open stock.

The bat comes from TBB&M2.
There is a fun Halloween tag on that cartridge,
and this is the negative image that is left over
LOVE IT!!!
So I just adhered the body down with a glue dot
and the wings are flapping up.

The scallop border comes from Elegant Edges.

My twine is from American Crafts and We R Memory Keepers.
The enamel dots are from Recollections.
My sentiment comes from a Studio G $1 Set I picked up
at JoAnn's.

So come on over to Cut It Up and join
us for our color challenge!

Bitten by the Bug 2
Over at BBTB2 our awesome DT member Sharon has chosen the theme of
The Cow Jumped Over the Moon
(use a cow on your projects)

and over at FCCB

Challenge #232 Pun Fun
Make a project using a pun

This Weeks Sponsor

SVG Attic

$15.00 Giftcard

My Project:

Isn't this cow ridiculously funny?!?!
I had to use it for these challenges!
It is from the Birthday Bash and I cut it at 4".
There is normally a "10" in front of it,
but I didn't cut that out and instead
cut a sentiment tag and stamp
the pun "Cow's it going?" from Mary's CardzTV
More Critter Captions stamp set.

All the paper comes from Carta Bella
and the glitter dots are from Recollections.

The sketch is from Die Cuttin' Divas
October Sketch Challenge, so I will be entering this over there too.

I hope that you will join us for these fun challenges
over at FCCB and BBTB2 this week.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Leaves are Falling

Happy Monday!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend,
I know I did!

I was so excited to get my front porch decorated
with hay bails, corn stalks, and pumpkins!!!
Was is Anne of Green Gables who said,
"I'm so glad I live in a world with Octobers"

I second that thought!

So anyway, over at BBTB2, Pam has issued a challenge
to use leaves on our projects, fitting for fall, right?

Bitten by the Bug 2

Here is my project:

I decided to try another shaker card!
I cut out from Designer's Calendar this fun leaf.
The creative feature is "Rounded" so the image is
inside a circle.
I cut it out a bunch of times, twice out of
some pattern paper then a dozen times out of
white cardstock.
I actually cut the leaf out of the white cardstock circles
to give me the space I needed to fill with beads.
I ran all the circles through my Xyron Sticker Machine
and adhered them all together.
I cut out of clear acetate two circles from
George to cover the front and back of the shaker.
I used Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive to glue the acetate
to the cardstock.

All the paper is from My Mind's Eye.
I used some jute twine and added a couple rhinestones
for extra embellishment.

The mat with the shaker is popped up on some foam tape.

Here are some more pics:

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 for this week's
Falling Leaves challenge!

I am also entering this in to Little Scrap Pieces.

Thanks for checkin' in!

Cut It Up
Challenge #55

My Project:

So who doesn't LOVE witches at Halloween?!?!
I had my nephew CONVINCED I was a witch
in real life for a LONG time when he was younger...
he's almost 16 now and I can't pull that one over on him anymore :)

But I found this AWESOME box on the Wrap It Up cartridge
I just HAD to try out!
Seriously, this cartridge has some AMAZING
Halloween images, treat boxes, and tags!
The tag is also from this cart!

So I cut the box at 7 1/2" out of some black cardstock,
then I cut it again out of some fun pattern paper
from The Paper Studio and
adhered the two together.
This made the box extra sturdy!

The witch layer was cut out of some fun green and white polka dot
paper that was in my stash that I thought was very fitting for her!
I then cut a little piece of green cardstock for her face
and glued it on the back of the layer.

I used some Washi Tape for the bottom and added
a couple of Orange Rhinestones from Darice.
The stamp on the tag is from Joy's Life's
Halloween Pun Stamps.
I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for the stamp and
I inked all the edges up with Slate ink from CTMH.

The black and white twine is from We R Memory Keepers
and I just had some purple tulle in my stash
for the topper.

I really like how this turned out and
am planning on giving this to my son's Kindergarten
teacher for Halloween.
NOT because I think she's a witch :)
She's AMAZING!!!

I hope that you will join us over at Cut It Up
for our Anything But a Card
Halloween Challenge!!!

Decorate To Celebrate Challenge #85 Anything Goes

Yay for Wednesday!!!
Half way through the week, right?!?!

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate
it is our 2nd "Anything Goes" challenge
but our 85th challenge overall!

For my project, I decided to create
a Halloween Home Decor "BOO" Banner:

I used Cricut Classic Font Cartridge for the letters
and cut them at 11 1/2" out of some chipboard.
I then cut the letters out of some fun Halloween paper
to cover the chipboard.
I just used my ATG gun to adhere them together.
I inked up all the edges with Slate Ink from
Close To My Heart.

I then used TBB&M2 for the bats, Designer's Calendar
for the spider, and Wrap It Up for the pumpkin.
I adhered the bats and spider with glue dots
and the pumpkin is on an Action Wobble.

I ran some purple tulle behind the letters
and tied some fun gold ric-rac ribbon around the ends.

Here is a closer pic...

I hope that you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate
and remember...
Anything Goes!!!
