Happy Monday!!!

Can you believe Christmas is THIS WEEK?!?!?!

Craziness!!!

In honor of Santa, BBTB2 has decided
to dedicate this week's challenge to him!
Use any Cricut Santa cut on your projects :)

Simply Charmed was one of my first cartridges,
but I have never used the Santa from it.
He's super fun and cute :)

My paper is from Doodlebug Designs
and my twine is from American Crafts.
The sentiment is from a TPC Christmas stamp set.

BBTB2 - Christmas Ornaments

Happy Monday!

We are counting down to Christmas here at our house,
how about you?

Over at BBTB2 we have another fun Christmas
challenge for you!

Create an Ornament using Cricut Cuts OR
use an Ornament on your projects.

I kind of incorporated both ideas into mine :)

I created an Ornament Tag from Joys of the Season.
I cut it at 4".

My paper is from American Crafts.

I used the negative cut from the ornament to
decorate the inside.

The sentiment is from American Crafts too.

I hope you will join us for this creative challenge!

Cut It Up! - BRRRR.....It's Winter

Happy Friday!

Today over at Cut It Up!
a new Challenge has started :)

BRRRR! Winter!

Sponsor:
$15 Gift Certificate

My Project:
So I decided to use Joys of the Season
for this cute winter house.
The cut didn't have snow for the roof or trees,
so I free-handed some using white cardstock.

All the paper comes from American Crafts
and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

I used my Wink of Stella glitter stick
to coat the snow, house, rooftop, and trees
for a more glistening effect,
but you can't really tell in the pic.

I hope you will join us over at Cut It Up!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Decorate To Celebrate - Recipe Book

Happy Wednesday!

Welcome to the last Decorate To Celebrate
challenge of the year - can you believe it?!?!

We will be taking a break until January,
so be sure to come back in 2016 :)

For my project, I decided to make a quick
recipe book for a friend of mine
with some fun recipes inside.

I used some chip board to create the cover and
decorated it with paper from Close To My Heart.
I used my Bind It All to put the book together.
The "recipes" cut is from "From My Kitchen".

I just added some more decorative paper on the
inside of the cover.

I hand-wrote some of my favorite "go-to" recipes
on the first few pages and then filled the rest of the
book with blank recipe pages so my friend can add
to it.

Super simple and cute gift idea for any occasion.

I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Decorate To Celebrate - Toppers

Happy Wednesday!!!

Or Happy Thanksgiving Eve :)

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate
we have a new Anything Goes Challenge starting.

I was asked by my SIL to create some
toppers for treat bags she wanted to give out.
This is what I came up with:

The leaves and acorns are from Doodlecharms
and the paper is from Hobby Lobby.

I think they turned out super cute.

BBTB2 - "Thanks"

Happy Monday!

Can you believe Thanksgiving is this week?!?!
Crazy!

For our last Thanksgiving challenge
this month over at BBTB2,
we want to see your projects that
feature the word "Thanks".

I decided to use Create A Critter 2.
It has an awesome Phrase in the Thanksgiving
section of the handbook. I only used part of it though.
The pumpkin is also from CAC2, it is an accessory cut.

My background paper is from Hobby Lobby.

I used a technique that I haven't done in a while.
I pulled out Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
to ink around all the edges.

I also decided to use some brads,
which I haven't done on a project in a long time.
These are fun embellishments.

My pumpkin is popped up on some foam tape.

I added the sentiment "giving" above the "THANKS" phrase
by masking a "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment
and just inking up the last part of it.
Turned out great :)

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Pumpkins

Happy Monday!

I hope you all survived the Halloween weekend
and Daylight Savings :)

As time continues on, we are looking forward
to Thanksgiving and all things Pumpkin!

So the challenge over at BBTB2 is
to feature a Pumpkin on your Thanksgiving cards.

My favorite pumpkin cut is from Freshly Picked.
I used the flip feature and cut the stem on the other
side of the pumpkin so I could fit the sentiment
in the upper right hand corner.

The background mat is paper from CTMH
and I used Elegant Edges to cut it out.

My pumpkin papers are from Basic Grey.
The jewels are from Darice, and
the sentiment is from CardzTV.

It's a super simple card, but I like how it turned out.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Happy Friday!

Welcome to another challenge over at

Cut It Up

Our theme for this week:
Sweets for my Sweet!

Our Sponsor:
$20 Gift Certificate

My Project:
I wanted to try a Tri-Fold Slider Card
as outlined in the Straight From the Nest
Cricut Handbook.
It's a lot bigger than I am used to making :)

I cut the corner embellishments and
the cupcake silhouette slider from
that cartridge too.

Anyway, I chose my papers from DCWV
Sweet Treats paper pad and The Paper Studio's
Glitter Paper pad.

Even though the picture doesn't capture the
blue of the background cupcake paper,
it looks great with the brown :)

I hope you will join us over at Cut It Up!

Decorate To Celebrate #112

Happy Wednesday!

So It's Halloween Week!!!
YAY!!!

Over at Decorate to Celebrate it's time for another challenge
and I am sticking to Halloween Decor :)

I decided to make some more decor blocks
for a couple of my friends.

I painted them with Black Acrylic paint and used
Mod Podge to adhere the chevron paper.
I cut "BOO" using Cricut Everyday Fonts
out of some Purple Glitter paper and
ran those through my Xyron 1" sticker machine.

I wrapped them in a cello bag and tied it off
with some black tulle.
The orange and white twine is from Stampin' Up
and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I picked up some Halloween Stickers from
Hobby Lobby in the clearance section a few years ago
and finally used one of them.
It's puffy and super fun :)

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Breast Cancer Awareness

Happy Monday!!!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month
so this week over at BBTB2 we have a challenge
focused on this important topic.
Use a bra or woman on your projects.

Cancer Sucks!
It doesn't matter what kind it is, it sucks!
So get screened, ladies!
A mammogram isn't that big of a deal,
I have had one myself and it is too important not to.

So anyway, for my project I decided to use the
bra from Forever Young - it' so frilly and pretty :)

I really like blacks and pinks combined.

My papers are from Heidi Swapp
and American Crafts.

The sentiment is from My Craft Spot "Get Well Soon".

The jewels are from Darice (JoAnn's).

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2!

Decorate To Celebrate #111

Happy Wednesday!

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate
we have another Anything Goes challenge.

For this challenge I have finally completed a
project that has been on my mind for a couple months now.
I wanted to dress up my Tupperware mug
with Hot Pink Vinyl - so I did :)

Since my name is Emily and my nickname is Mollie
"M" was the perfect monogram for this.

I found all the cuts on Lyrical Letters.
They totally speak "me" :)
I just arranged them around my mug.

I love how it turned out.

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

All I need to do know is add the name :)

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Today over at BBTB2 we have
a Halloween Themed challenge.
But there have been some changes over at BBTB2
where we are now an "inspiration only" blog.
You don't need to link up your projects :)

I decided to use the cute ghost from Simply Charmed
and the awesome bat from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.

The paper was all in my stash but I am sure it is from
the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).

I used a fun glitter dot in the corner for added bling :)

The sentiment is from Joy's Life "Halloween Puns"
and of course I used some Peachy Keen Face Stamps
for my two "fiends".

I decided to make a new Halloween Decor project.
I had a scrap of wood in the garage that I found
and painted it with black acrylic paint.

in my stash and used Mod Podge to adhere it.

I pulled out my Celebrate to Flourish cartridge
and cut out the "Trick or Treat" and
altered it to fit my block.

Cookies!

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend and
are looking forward to this week!

To help "sweeten" things up a bit,
we have a fabulous challenge over at BBTB2!

It's National Pecan Cookie Day and
we want to see projects featuring any type of
Cookie!

So there are some Soda Shops around town where I live
and one of the signature treats is the
"Sugar Cookie" topped with pink frosting.

The Love You A Latte cart has a "donut" cut,
but it sure looks like a Sugar Cookie to me :)

I found some fun paper from DCWV "Nana's Kitchen"
and my sentiment is from My Creative Time.
The ribbon is from American Crafts.

Now I need to run to Slurp for my Jacked Diet Coke
and Sugar Cookie....

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

and cut the Lipstick Container at 10 1/4.

The paper is from Crete Paper/American Crafts
I used a twisty tie from CTMH as the handle.
I had a cute brad to use for the "snap" and
just added some fun embellishments I had in my stash.

but I'm sure she will like what's inside more :)

BBTB2 - Use Your Imagination

Happy Monday!

Today over at BBTB2, a new challenge has started

Imaginary Characters :)

Well, I can't think of a more Imaginary Character than
a Robot Maid :)
I don't know about you, but I could definitely handle having
one of these in my life!

I used the Robotz Cartridge for this cut,
paper from DCWV "Nana's Kitchen", and
glitter dots from Recollections.

The sentiment was a Studio G $1 find - love those!

I had a pink sunburst mat in my stash,
and I just ran it through my Cuttlebug
with a Chevron embossing folder.

The ribbon at the bottom is from American Crafts.

I hope that you will join us for this fun challenge
over at BBTB2!

Needless to say Football is on my brain and it's what I
had to base my card on for this challenge :)

I used Life's A Party for the football and phrase cut.
My paper is from a 4x6" Brag Pad
"Little Sport" by Heidi Larsen.
I picked it up in the clearance section of Hobby Lobby :)

I popped the football up on some foam tape

Decorate To Celebrate #108 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!

Welcome to another Anything Goes Challenge over at

Today, I decided to decorate one of my marker bins!

This bin was once a Hot Chocolate Mix Container!
Sorry I didn't have a before pic :(

I upcycled it!

I found some cardstock that I really liked,
of course it would be pink with flowers and have a little sparkle :)

I glued the paper around the container and then
added some fun embellishments!

The butterfly is cut from Art Philosophy
and the flowers are all Prima Flowers.
I added the flat back pearls to the centers.

I hope that you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

BBTB2 - Back To School Supplies

Happy Monday!!!

Oh my, my life has gotten busy!
I went back to work after a 6 1/2 year break (kids),
and I can't believe the difference it has made
in how I don't have time for anything!
Especially crafting :(

Luckily, I made time this last week to get a card done
for the challenge I am hosting over at BBTB2!

And because it is Back To School time, I thought
it would be a perfect theme for this week.
But to add a little something to the challenge,
let's see School Supplies on your projects!

I pulled out my Recess Lite cartridge and cut out a few of the
super cute images and displayed them on my card.

The paper is from DCWV and
the sentiment stamp is from
Craftin' Desert Divas.

Please join us this week over at BBTB2!

and it cuts out a mat along with a flower layer.

My card is 5x5 and the mat is 4 1/4.
I used paper from American Crafts and a glitter dot
for the center of the flower.
