BBTB2 - Think Green

Happy Monday!
Today over at BBTB2 I had the privilege of
choosing the theme for the weekly challenge!

Think Green!
Use 3 shades of Green on your projects.

I used the Garden Soup cartridge for my card.
I thought it would have the perfect image for a "Green" card,
and it did :)
There are some fabulous cuts on this cart,
I highly recommend adding this to your library.

Again, I am on my scraps kick, so all my
papers were from my "green bin".

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2
for the challenge!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Cute Animals

Oh my it's Tuesday :o
My post didn't get published...oops!

Well, yesterday a new challenge started over at
BBTB2 all about Cute Animals.

I decided to use Create-A-Critter, it was the obvious choice for me!
The critters are SO SO CUTE!!!

I love this little pup.
I used scraps from my stash and
just came up with this layout, I kind of like it :)

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Cut It Up - Bendy Cards

Happy Friday!

Today over at Cut It Up we have started a
new challenge...
Cut It Up

No automatic alt text available.
Bendy Cards!

Sponsor:
Prize: Any 3 sets of your choice

My Project:
Okay, so first off, I am a loyal Cricut-er.
And I only have a Cricut Expression.

I have steered clear of any "digital" crafting.
I know, I know, I need to get with the times,
but I'm good :)

Anyway, for my project, I decided to print out the bendy card
from our Sponsor, The Cutting Cafe, just on my regular old printer.

I then "fussy cut" it out and used it as a template to
trace on some paper from Echo Park.

I then pieced them together, easy peasy.

The heart I cut from Art Philosophy.

I used some Twine from American Crafts
to line the top of the "bends".

Here is a top shot of the card:

I really like the dimension the bendy card gives.

The sentiment I used is also from our Sponsor,
I also just printed it out on my printer.
Here is a close up...

This was a fun card to make, and you can
make it without a fancy digital machine ;)

I hope you will try out the bendy cards from
The Cutting Cafe and join us
for our challenge over at Cut It Up!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Create a Valentine

Happy Monday!

Another challenge over at BBTB2
has begun!

Create a Valentine!
Yes! Valentine's is upon us - CRAZY!!!

I decided to use Art Philosophy,
one of the Close to My Heart cartridges.
They have a ton of pre-cut cards and I wanted to
try one out, so I chose this heart card.

I cut it at 4 3/4" out of some My Mind's Eye paper,
which I adore!

I decided to use a different paper to fill in the heart
that the card cut out so I could stamp the inside with
a sentiment.

The sentiment also comes from CTMH.

I used the cut out heart on the inside of the card,
didn't want to waste that :)

Then I added twine down the spine of the card.

Super quick and easy!

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2
for this week's Valentine's challenge.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
