BBTB2 - Back To School Supplies

Happy Monday!!!

Oh my, my life has gotten busy!
I went back to work after a 6 1/2 year break (kids),
and I can't believe the difference it has made
in how I don't have time for anything!
Especially crafting :(

Luckily, I made time this last week to get a card done
for the challenge I am hosting over at BBTB2!

And because it is Back To School time, I thought
it would be a perfect theme for this week.
But to add a little something to the challenge,
let's see School Supplies on your projects!

I pulled out my Recess Lite cartridge and cut out a few of the
super cute images and displayed them on my card.

The paper is from DCWV and
the sentiment stamp is from
Craftin' Desert Divas.

Please join us this week over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Celebrate Friendship

Happy Monday!

Hope you are ready for another week!

This week we have a challenge over at BBTB2
all about Celebrating Friendship!

I don't know about you,
but my life is SO MUCH better
with the friends I have around me :)

I decided to make a Friendship Thank You card.
I used Walk In My Garden for my card.

There is a Card Special Feature on this cart,
and it cuts out a mat along with a flower layer.

My card is 5x5 and the mat is 4 1/4.
I used paper from American Crafts and a glitter dot
for the center of the flower.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I hope you will join us this week over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

My Project:
Okay, so for my Old School craft supplies I decided to
use the first stamp set I ever bought 5 years ago.
(I have no idea what company produced this set, sorry!)
And one of the first embellishment products I purchased - Stickles :)

This fabulous cupcake and the sentiment tag come from
Once Upon a Princess.
I pieced together my background mat
with scraps from my stash.

This card just makes me happy!

Decorate To Celebrate #107 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!!!

Welcome to another Anything Goes challenge over at

In honor of school starting today,
I decided to create a Milk Carton Treat Box.

I loved school lunch just for
chocolate milk in the little cartons :)

My project:
I cut this box out of TBBM2.
If you don't have this cartridge and are planning on
buying it, my advice to you is to buy the scoring blade
along with it.
IT WILL SAVE YOU!!!

Anyway, my paper is from American Crafts
and the metal flower embellishment is from Freckled Fawn.
I cut the tag out of Once Upon A Princess and stamped
it with a Craftin' Desert Divas sentiment.

It is all ready to be filled with sweet treats :)

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

I used Sweet Treats for this fun cake and used
different scraps from my stash to piece together
the background.

I added a few glitter stones and called it fabulous!

I am still trying to balance everything in my life,
so if my posts seem a little off, that is why.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Decorate To Celebrate - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!!!

Welcome to another Anything Goes challenge over at

Today I am sharing with you something I made for my desk.
I recently started working again,
and I am trying to personalize my little work space/desk area
with pics and some decor.

Well, I had an idea to upcycle the container
my shampoo and condition came in,
because I really liked the shape of it.

Before

After

So I found some awesome paper that is TOTALLY me
and wrapped it around the container. I had to trace and cut just a little,
but it was super fast and easy.

I then reinforced the sides with a strip of cardstock and added
a strip at the bottom to match.

The stickers were in my stash, but I thought they all went
together so well.

I am excited to bring this to work and start using it.
I think at this point it is going to hold paper clips,
LOTS and LOTS of paper clips :)

Some more pics:

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

BBTB2 - Life's A Beach

So I am still trying to figure out how to balance family, work and crafting...it's crazy!!!!
I started back to work a few weeks ago and it is crazy to juggle everything!
Luckily, I was able to get a project done this week for the challenge over at BBTB2...Down by the Sea.

I pulled out my Pack Your Bags cartridge and found this awesome cut. My kids and I have been going to a little beach reservoir close to us and they have spent a lot of time building sand castles. So I thought this would be perfect to use.

I love the water paper for projects like this. It came in a pack from ColorBok at Wal-Mart. I tore some craft/tan paper to give a more textured, sandy look for the beach. I topped off the card with embossed clouds on sky blue cardstock.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!
