you are in the right place!

And this will be the last stop of the Hop!

But if you want to start from the top here is the line up:

Now on to my Project:

I absolutely LOVE the "Many Thanks" stamp set!!!
It is a beautiful set of thank you sentiments!

I was so excited to use "Merci Beaucoup!" too!
I have a friend who went to France on her LDS Mission
and she has been such a wonderful friend and support to me
that I wanted to make her a card.

I cut the Eiffel Tower from Everyday Pop Up Cards and
the circle and scallop circle were cut from Mini Monograms.

My b/g mat and pink mats come from My Mind's Eye,
the paper I cut the tower out of comes from
Bo Bunny Isabella Collection
and the gray b/g strip comes from ColorBok (Wal-Mart)
Natural Expressions

The flowers are from Prima, and I added
pearls from Recollections to the center.
The silk ribbon was just in my stash.

I did pop up the sentiment and tower with foam tape
and inked around the edges of my mats with
Close To My Heart Slate Ink.

Thanks for hoppin' in!!!

Cut It Up - Grandparents Day

Happy Friday All!!!

I am so looking forward to this weekend to start,
how about you?

Well, we have another challenge starting over at Cut It Up
and the most talented Cindy has chosen a super fun theme!
Cut It Up

Challenge #52
Grandparent's Day

Our Sponsors:
$20 Coupon Code

Die-Version
$15 Gift Certificate

My Project:

What a fun day to honor our grandparents and parents!
I actually don't have any grandparents left, they have all passed on,
but my kids have my parents and my husband's mom to wish
a Happy Grandparent's Day to!

So this is the little gift box I decided to make my MIL to
thank her for being such an AMAZING Grandma to my littles!
My FIL passed away before my kids were born, but
I still wanted to honor him with this box, too.

I decided to use the family tree and stencil phrase
"Families are Forever"
from the "Just Because" Cards cartridge.
Our family knows that we will see my FIL again,
and we truly believe that families can be together forever,
so I thought this would be a perfect way to include my FIL in this day.

The box comes from Life's A Party and I cut it out at 2 3/4".
All the paper comes from Close To My Heart, as well as
the embellishments (Skylark collection), except for the
rhinestones, they came from Michael's.

This box will be filled with Dark Chocolate
(my MIL's favorite)

I hope that you will join us over at Cut It Up
and show us how you celebrate
Grandparent's Day!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Decorate To Celebrate - Grandparents Day!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Hope you are all surviving the week!
I am still counting down til next Tuesday,
when my son starts Kindergarten - Can. Not. Wait!!!

But until then we have the all important day celebrating
Grandparents!!!

And that's just what we are doing over at Decorate To Celebrate!
We want to see how you honor the grandparents in your life!

To be honest, I would not be able to be a mom
without the help of my parents and my MIL!
They are LIFE SAVERS!

So today's project is how I am going to thank my
Mom and Dad!
They have 7 grand kids so I made this so they could
put a picture of each of them on here.
(Check back on Friday for how I will thank my MIL)

This is 100% Pinterest inspired too!
I have seen this type of board and pinned it to my Crafty Crafts
but haven't gotten around to completing it until now!

I really like how this turned out.

I started with an MDF board my husband cut and routed.

Then I painted it brown with some acrylic paint.
I used Mod Podge to adhere my cardstock
which all came from Close To My Heart.

The "grandkids" I cut from Lyrical Letters
out of turquoise cardstock (not vinyl)
and adhered them with my Zig 2 Way Pen.
I then put a top coat of Mod Podge over the whole thing.

The clothes pins were glued with Scotch Quick Dry
and the cardstock on the top of them was adhered with Mod Podge.

It really was an easy project to put together!

Here is what it will look like with some pics...

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!
And please remember that you can always
enter ways you celebrate Birthdays too!
(Just please no cards or layouts)

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Happy Monday!!!
Welcome to another

The theme for this Linky Party is:
Back To School!!!

AND
Our Sponsors are:
One Stamp Set

$10 Discount Code

AND
Prize Pack

My Project:

How many of you know some kids that are just dreading
going back to school and have the "Backpack Blues"?
Well, I made this card with all those kids in mind :)
especially my 12 year old niece!

This fun sentiment comes from Craftin' Desert Divas
School Zone Stamp Set

You can purchase this set HERE.

The DT was so lucky to have some amazing products to
use from Clearsnap - a colorful ColorBox ink pad and some daubers.
I'm totally converted to the daubers!

So I inked around the edges of my base card and my blue pattern papers
with the fabulous blue ink from ColorBox.

I used the Recess Cartridge for the backpack.
LOVE this cut!!!

I also used paper from DCWV Grade School paper stack
and some other scraps in my stash.

The twine is Trendy Twine Blueberry - LOVE!
And the bling is from Darice (JoAnn's)

Here is the inside:
I kept it super simple, but inked around the edges of
the white cardstock mat and pattern papers with the
same blue ink.
Seriously, the daubers are FABULOUS!!!

I hope that you will join us for the linky party

Here is a video showing how my card came together:

FCCB & BBTB2 Weekly Challenges

Hey All!
How is everyone doing after the nice weekend break?
Ready to start a new week and a couple of new challenges?

We've got a challenge underway over at

Challenge #24 Camp Out

This Weeks Sponsor

Pretty Cute Stamps
~This Week's Challenge~
Camp Out
Create a project inspired by the outdoors

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

AND over at BBTB2
Bitten by the Bug 2
we have the challenge starting of
Let The SUN Shine In!

Create a project featuring a Sun!

So here is my card I created combining the two:

I used Campin' Critters for the fabulous outdoor scene
and the sun I cut from Accent Essentials.

My papers were all from my scrap stash,
but if I remember right, the blue is from a ColorBok (WalMart) paper pack
and the polka dot is from a DCWV pack.

I found some awesome wooden buttons to use
and some brown ric-rac to create a nice border
between the two b/g mats.

I've popped up the scene on some foam tape,
but the sun is adhered straight on the mat.
There is some great dimension on this card that
the camera just doesn't pick up.

Lastly, the sentiment - it's from CardzTV - and I know
I recently used this same sentiment, but I LOVE it,
so I used it again and it is perfect for this card!

I hope that you will join us over at FCCB & BBTB2
for these challenges!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
