Always Crafting Whimsical Wednesday Distress It

So this week our challenge from http://www.alwayscrafting.com was to distress our craft. I have to admit, I had to google what that entailed because I had never done it, nor had I really ever heard of it. But once I saw some tutorials on youtube and other blogs, I figured it out. I was amazed at some of the looks that were out there on distressed projects, it really is a cool aspect to crafting. There are a lot of fun distressing tools out there too, none of which I own at this point. So I basically tore my cardstock and used my fingernails on the edges of the actual card. I did use the D'vine Swirls Cuddlebug folder to add a bit more to the mat, it is a pretty simple card. The "thanks" is cut from Mini Monograms.

  1. Isn't it so much fun? And you really can't make a mistake! Just tear, scratch, sand, whatever...
Your card turned out so pretty! AND with no tools! Pretty impressive! Love the earth tones. Thanks for having fun and playing along with us at Whimsical Wednesday!
