BBTB2 - Life's A Beach

So I am still trying to figure out how to balance family, work and crafting...it's crazy!!!!
I started back to work a few weeks ago and it is crazy to juggle everything!
Luckily, I was able to get a project done this week for the challenge over at BBTB2...Down by the Sea.

I pulled out my Pack Your Bags cartridge and found this awesome cut. My kids and I have been going to a little beach reservoir close to us and they have spent a lot of time building sand castles. So I thought this would be perfect to use.

I love the water paper for projects like this. It came in a pack from ColorBok at Wal-Mart. I tore some craft/tan paper to give a more textured, sandy look for the beach. I topped off the card with embossed clouds on sky blue cardstock.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

  1. Love the water paper! This turned out very cute! It is SO difficult to keep all the plates spinning as a mom, employee, wife, and crafter! Some days, you just have to let a plate drop, lol! I'm sending lots of sympathy and good luck as you juggle all your responsibilities!

  4. Love the fun scene of your card Emily!!! That water paper is perfect. Love the sandcastle, pail and shovel, too. It is hard to get everything you want to do, done when you work, too. You will get it all down pat soon!!! :)
