Paper Play Sketches 39 - Thank you!

Happy Wednesday!

Okay, so it has been a LOOOOONG time since
I have linked up to another blog's challenge...

I have been so busy with life,
I barely get things done on time
for the Design Teams I'm currently on.

So this is a BIG moment ;)

Anyway, I started up watching some of CardzTV's videos,
another thing I haven't done in quite a long time,
and how can you not be inspired and motivated to create
after watching Mary, right?!?!

Her latest video is for the blog
I really liked the simplicity of the sketch
and wanted to give it a go.

So here is a Thank You card I made.
I used CardzTV's "Many Thanks" stamp set
for the sentiment.

The flower is cut from Accent Essentials.
I cut it at 1 1/2 inches with a shadow.
You can't tell in the pic,
but the white paper I used has a
shimmery/glossy finish.
It's a perfect match for the glittery flowers
in the background paper.
A fun little jewel was ideal for
the center of the flower.

My background paper is DCWV and
the middle mat is from My Mind's Eye.
The banner was from my scrap stash.

This card came together super quick
and I really like the clean and simple look to it.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

  3. 'm right there with you! Seems like everything I make is for a DT project, but I always look at my life first and see what I need to make. Whose birthday is coming up? Which holiday? And then I try to make something that I can use. I haven't entered any other challenges, either!

Your card is really sweet! I'm glad you had a chance to do something different and fun!
