The sentiment is from CardzTV "This N That" set.

I topped the card off with some flat back pearls.

CardzTV - Queen For A Day

SNIFF SNIFF!!!

CLICK HERE TO ORDER CARDZ TV STAMPS!

I am so sad that my time as a CardzTV designer has come to an end!!!

It was such an honor to be working with Mary
and all the other amazing DT members!

The last challenge that we were given was
to create a Feminine Birthday Card using
3 Pattern Papers

So here is what I came up with:

I followed a recent sketch from Mojo Monday
and really loved how feminine this card turned out.

My papers all come from My Mind's Eye
Lost & Found Market Street 6x6 paper pad.

The crown image is from the Home Decor Solutions cartridge.
I cut the base image out at 1 1/2.
I also cut the blackout and shadow and layered them all together.
The crown is popped up on some foam tape
to stand out from the b/g paper.

My scallop circle is from Mini Monograms and I cut it at 4".
The circle was cut from George at 3" and the
scallop border was cut from Elegant Edges at 1"
I cut the banners freehand.

My ribbon is from Michael's as well as the flowers and flat back pearls.

The sentiment "Queen for a day!" is from
CardzTV's "This N That" stamp set
and the inside sentiment is from "Happy Days"

I just used some scraps left over from the front to create the bottom border.
The scallop is from Elegant Edges, cut at 3/4".

I hope that you will join us for this challenge
and I will sure miss seeing everyone's projects :(

I am going to be linking this up over at
Die Cuttin' Divas - Anything Goes challenge too.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Cut It Up - Shape Cards FEATURING An Animal :)

Hey All!!!

Happy Friday!!!

I hope you are ready for another challenge today!
Our amazing Sarah has chosen a super fun theme too!
Here is all the info:

Cut It Up

Challenge #50
Shaped Cards with a Twist -
Must Include an Animal!

Sponsor:
$10 Gift Certificate

My Project:
Holy Moly, I first have to tell you that I am SUPER lucky
to have had my 5 year old pick out the image for my card today!
I knew the challenge was a shaped card,
but I totally missed the part about it
needing to feature an ANIMAL!
I seriously don't know how I missed that :)

Anyway, I knew I wanted to make a little boy Birthday card.
I also knew that I had some AMAZING paper
I wanted to used from My Mind's Eye called
Boy Crazy - a 6x6 pad.
Naturally, with this paper I wanted to put to use
my Robotz Cricut Cartridge because
they really were made for each other :)

So I had my son come in and pick his favorite image
from the cart and I really wanted him to choose a robot,
but he was set on using this Dog-Bot.
I am SO GLAD that he did,
because I would have totally had to re-do my card - LOL!!!
And a Dog is a Dog even if in Robot form right :)

Here is the inside:

I also used Art Philosophy for the shaped card and
arrow on the front.

I used CardzTV stamps for both my sentiments
"Going In Circles" & "This N That"

I also used some Enamel Dots from Recollections
on the front of the card.
Seriously LOVE these embellishments.

This was a super easy card to put together,
and I have a video to show you how I made it...

I hope that you will join us for this super fun challenge!
And don't be like me a completely miss using an Animal :)

I am also going to enter this in over at

and Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday

CardzTV "Oh SNAP!"

WAHOO!!! It's Friday!!!

So happy that the weekend is here!

But before that gets started, we have a super fun
challenge starting over at CardzTV!

CLICK HERE TO ORDER CARDZ TV STAMPS!

We want you to create a Child's Birthday Card
using Buttons, Brads, and/or Bows.

I decided to create a more boyish card for this challenge
because I never seem to have one when I need one :)

So here is my project:
I used Birthday Bash to cut out this cute little gator.
I used some black brads for the eyes and
I inked around the edges with some
ColorBox Aquamarine Chalk Ink.

The sentiment is from CardzTV "This N That" set and I
cut the mat using some zig zag scissors.
I also inked around the edges of that.

My ribbon is from American Crafts and my paper is from
DCWV The Birthday Wishes 6x6 stack.

 Here is the inside:
I printed out on some green cardstock the
"It's Your Birthday" from my computer,
then stamped the "Have a happy YOU day!" underneath.
That stamp is also from the This N That set.

I cut this mat with the zig zag scissors and
inked around these edges too.

I added a scrap piece left over from the front
for a bit of an accent on the inside.

I think this turned out super fun for a little boy!

I hope that you will join us over at CardzTV for this
awesome challenge and can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Make a Thank You Card
Using Red, White & Blue

My card:
This card was so fun to make!

I ran some We R Memory Keepers twine through the top of the tag.
I also used George for the welded "Thanks".

I used CardTV's This 'N' That stamp set for the sentiment
and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The glitter ribbon is self adhesive from American Crafts
and the silver rhinestones are from Recollections.

All of my glitter paper is from The Paper Studio.

BBTB2 - Alter A Cricut Cut

Bitten by the Bug 2

Happy Monday!!!
The first week in JUNE?!?!
Are you kidding me?!?!
Honestly, though, I am so excited for summer to be here!
With all the kids out of school,
my son will finally have some of his friends to be able to play with
 ALL DAY LONG!!!
This will be GLORIOUS!!!

Well, enough about that :)
Today over at BBTB2, a new challenge is upon us!
And it's a FABULOUS one too!

We want you to ALTER a Cricut cut!

There are so many ways you can alter cuts,
I decided to use my favorite way to alter cuts and add dimension...
Embossing!

Just a few months after I bought my first Cricut,
I HAD to buy the Cuttlebug :)

I LOVE all the different embossing folders that are available
and adding that extra texture to cards and cuts
really does make a difference in card making!

So here's my project:

I used the cutest Ice Cream Cone from Doodlecharms
and embossed the cone with the
Argyle Embossing Folder from Cricut.
My paper is from American Crafts, my twine is We R Memory Keepers,
the embellishments are from Hobby Lobby
and my stamp is from Craftin' Desert Divas
Simply Said stamp set.

This is the inside of the card and
I used one of CardzTV stamps
from the This N That set.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge
and be sure to check out all the DT's projects
for different ideas on how to alter your cuts.

Here's the Video:

CardzTV - Graduation Challenge

 I AM SO EXCITED!!!

I DESIGN FOR

This is my first post as a DT member for Mary over at CardzTV!!!

I have to tell you when I first started getting involved with
card making and the Cricut at the beginning of 2011,
I found this "little" YouTube channel called CardzTV
and started getting "taught" by Mary.
I seriously watched EVERY single one of her videos!
I have learned so much from her,
practically everything I know about making cards,
I learned from her!
She inspired me - still does - and I thought to myself
(more times than once),
"I want to be just like her when I grow up"
:)

I was also so intimidated and in awe of Mary,
that I would never leave her comments,
just admired her from afar,
so now being on her team
and the fact that she knows my name
is CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY to me!!!

Anyway...

There is a new DT for CardzTV,
and they are all so extremely talented!!!
Mary also has a whole bunch of fun
and exciting challenges coming up,
so I hope you will stay tuned
and participate along with us :)

The challenge that is starting today is all about
Graduation!
We want to see all your cards and projects
that have to do with this momentous occasion!

My Project:
This is the card I made for my Dad!
He is in his 60's and finally got his Bachelor's Degree!
I am so proud of him!

I used Create A Friend for this cute little graduate
and Elegant Edges for the shaped mat.

I used Mary's "This N That" stamp set for the "Way to Go!"
LOVE this set!

The inside:
This sentiment comes from Mary's
new stamp set "Congratulations"

This set contains practically EVERY occasion you
could congratulate someone for - LOVE it!!!

Please swing on by CardzTV to see all of the other DT projects
and join us for this challenge!

You can purchase any of the CardzTV stamps HERE.

I am also going to enter this card into My Craft Spot's Congrats/Grads challenge.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
