BBTB2 - Singing In The Rain!

Happy Monday!!!

How are y'all doing?

I am so excited for school to be back in session after a week
of Spring Break....I feel a bit crazy and look forward to routine :)

Bitten by the Bug 2

This week over at BBTB2 we have a new challenge
all about April Showers!

We want to see projects that feature anything that has
to do with rain...umbrellas, rain boots, puddles, etc.

I decided to use a cut I have never used before from
Once Upon A Princess.

This cute little doll is perfect for this challenge,
don't ya think :)

My papers come from Heidi Grace
and the sentiment stamp is from CardzTV.

I used a Princess Peachy Keen Stamp for the face.

I hope that you will join us for this challenge!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Craftin' Desert Divas - Picture That "Love it"

Hey!

Today, I was lucky enough to showcase one
of the funnest stamps from the new
"Picture That" stamp set over at Craftin' Desert Divas!

Picture That
You can purchase the set HERE.

I absolutely "love it" :)

Tara has done it again with this set - it is fabulous!
There are so many ways you can use these stamps -
cards, scrapbook layouts, mini albums, really, any project!!!

Here is the card I created:

The cupcake comes from Create A Critter and
I used one of the Princess faces from PKS.
I have the cupcake on an Action Wobble too - for extra cuteness!!!
I inked the edges of my cupcake with some ColorBox Chalk Ink
and embossed the cupcake holder with
the Quartrefoil folder from Hobby Lobby.
My paper and ribbon is from American Crafts
and I used enamel dots from Michael's -
I am seriously obsessed with these!!!

I LOVE the cursive writing this stamp is in
and that heart and arrow are PERFECT!!!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Pick of the Patch

Cricut, Simply Charmed, Peachy Keen Stamps,

Here is my first card for the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge! I don't know why I haven't entered one of their challenges until now, but better late than never, right? Anyway, they have a sketch challenge this week and I wanted to make another Fall card using the pumpkin trio from Simply Charmed. I cut them out at 2" and used the PKS Everyday Character Face Assortment. I did color in the eyes with a white gel pen for extra character.  My papers come from Doodlebug Designs "Happy Harvest" and a couple DCWV stacks - you'll never guess which ones so watch the video to find out :) I also used George for a few of the cuts.  I printed on my computer the festive sentiments.  I had fun making this card and using my PKS's. Thanks for checking in!!!

Oh, Happy Day!

Cricut, Walk In My Garden, LadyBug, Happy Day, Swiss Dots

I am so excited to finally be entering a PKS Challenge! I am LOVING my PKS's and am having so much fun using them on my cards.  This week they have a sketch challenge which I used to create this fun ladybug card.  I am also entering this card in CardzTV "Seeing Red" challenge, Cut It Up's challenge of "What's Bugging You", and My Craft Spot's challenge of "Clean and Simple".  My card base is black, with a red base mat.  I used Swiss Dots to emboss my white mat, Walk in My Garden for the ladybug and leaves, and my red flower mat comes from DCWV Green Stack.  The PKS face comes from the Everyday Character set and I used some silvery glitter ink (I don't have white...yet).  I finished the card off with some black and white twine from We R Memory Keepers.  My sentiment comes from CardzTV "Happy Days" stamp set and I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I think this is a simple and cute card, I really like how it turned out.  Thanks for checking it out!

Birthday Boys and Ice Cream Cones

Cricut Simply Charmed Cartridge Ice Cream Cone Birthday Card

This cute little card is what I came up with for the Die Cuttin Diva's challenge this week.  In July we celebrate freedom, pioneers, and ICE CREAM!!!  I needed a little boy birthday card and so I pulled from my scraps and assembled this fun card.  Also, this is my very first card using Peachy Keen Stamps!!! I am so excited to FINALLY have these adorable stamps in my collection.  I can't believe I waited so long to get them!  Anyway, I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for this little Ice Cream Cone, and used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the face and sentiments.  I did use a white gel pen to dot the eyes and both the ice cream cone and "Celebrate" sentiment are popped up on one thickness of foam tape.  Hopefully, you will check out my video to see how it all came together!  Thanks for stopping by!!!
