The giveaway is $100 in DCWV paper and we are having 3 WINNERS!

My Project:

Well, Valentine's has come and gone, but I wanted to make one last Non-Traditional Valentine's Day Card and thanks to DCWV's All Dressed Up Glittered Mat Stack I was able to pull it off!!! I pulled 4 different coordinating papers from this pack and let the paper do most of the work! This card was simple to put together and I have a video for you to see just how easy it was.  I only used one Cricut cut from George, the heart, but I did cut two of them :)

Please join us over at HIMCR for our challenge to use at least 3 different pattern papers on your projects - so FUN!!!

I am also entering this challenge into Mojo Monday, Exploring Cricut, Die Cuttin' Divas, and Little Scrap Pieces.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

My Crafty Space

Hello! Happy Monday! Today over at BBTB2 we are having a different type of a challenge - but it's not really a challenge at all - we want to see where your creativity happens!  We all have some sort of crafty space and we would love to see yours! We, the DT, have all posted pics of our spaces so make sure you check out all of our blogs - some of them are AMAZING!!!

So without further ado, I will walk you through my crafty space...

This is Command Central!
I LOVE having pretty much everything at my fingertips!
We just converted a regular corner computer desk into my craft desk.

This is where I keep/organize my cardstock and mats.

My cartridges, cutters, stamps, and finished cards are on this side of the desk.
Oh, and I rarely am in my craft room without a Diet Coke (today it was featured in my NFL tumbler).
The best time I find to craft is when my baby is down for a nap (notice the baby monitor on the shelf).

All of my embellishments, i.e. buttons, brads, flowers, and bling, as well, as my adhesives, ink pads, and smaller stamps are kept in the AWESOME white plastic trays I get at Wal-Mart for .50 cents a piece!
The cubby shelves are the perfect size for these trays.

The desk drawer is perfect for my tool kit, scissors, blades, and punches.

Next to the desk is where I keep my ribbons, twine, tulle, and jute - it's a mess :)
My husband is still figuring out the best way to go about making me a ribbon holder, but this one works for the time being.

The other half of the ribbon table is my where I do my embossing, binding, and laminating.
My embossing folders and Spellbinders are kept in the wicker basket.

Then there is the Changing Table turned Crafting Shelves.
All my pattern paper and packs are kept here.
My acrylic paints, stickers, vinyl and various other crafting materials are here as well.

Close up of the paper -
 I LOVE PAPER!!!
and I don't have near enough of it :)

So that's pretty much it! It's not much, it tends to be a mess, but it's my space and I LOVE it!

Hopefully, you will join us in this week and share your space with us!

My Project:
Welcome to Super Scraps Saturday!!! Today we have the chance to show off some of the CUTE Digital Stamps from 2 Cute Ink and I was so excited to work with this Ladybug of Love!!! I am going to give this little card to my niece for Valentine's.  I used my Bic Mark-It's to color the image.  I framed it with the awesome heart frame from the Elegant Edges Cartridge and embellished it with a ruby red flower from Michael's. My paper was from my scrap stash, so I don't have the details, but I am pretty sure it was from a paper pack I bought a few years ago at Hobby Lobby.  I also cut some small hearts out and added them on the white cardstock with my Zig Glue Pen.  I did pop up the framed image on some foam tape so that there is a bit more dimension with the card.  I hope you will join us for our challenge and use up some of those scraps that have been lying around!

Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #68 - Valentine's Treat Boxes

It's another Wonderful Wednesday and that means over at Decorate to Celebrate we have the start of another fantastic challenge - and once again, it is helping us all get ready for Valentine's Day!!!
This time instead of bags, we want to see boxes!
There are some many options for fun, cute, creative boxes and we want to see them all!!!

For my project, I created this fun french fry box from Art Philosophy.  This cartridge has so many options for projects - IT'S CRAZY!!!  The box is found on page 27 of the handbook and I cut it at 8".  The tag is found on page 26 and it was cut at 2".  My sentiment is from a Fiskars set and the paper I used comes from Crate Paper.  I then used some generic white curling ribbon to tie the tag to the box and now all I need to do now is fill it with goodies galore!

I hope that you will show off your boxes with us and please make sure you check out the amazing projects from the design team!

I am linking this up to the Linky Party over at Craftin' Desert Divas as well.

If you are interested in purchasing the Art Philosophy cartridge and bundle from Close To My Heart, you can do that with me HERE!!!

Thanks for checkin' in!

My Project:

Hello! and Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday - I know that I am!!! But before we witness the "Desolation of Seahawks" we have a super fun challenge over at HIMCR.  The DT was able to choose a digi stamp to work with from Day for Daisies and I found this super cute cupcake that I wanted to use.  Truth be known though, before I chose this image, I failed to realize the challenge was all about "blue", so in reality I would LOVE to color this image pink and red for Valentine's, but I did the best with blue and brown - cause honestly, who doesn't love chocolate frosting?

Anyway, I chose a bunch of papers from my scrap stash that were all different shades of blue, and I really like the polka dot theme to them as well.  I fussy cut the image out and popped it up on some foam tape.  My ribbon is from American Crafts and the buttons were also just from my stash that I confiscated from my MIL's collection she had from her sewing business years ago.

I hope that you will join us for our "Blue" Without You challenge over at HIMCR and please be sure to check out the amazing work done by the DT!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
