Today over at Decorate To Celebrate we are starting a new challenge
to help you get ready for Mother's Day!!!
What a wonderful way to pay tribute to our Mom's by creating something for her!
I have put together this flower pot by painting a terra cotta pot with some yellow acrylic paint
and filled it with rocks and some greenery.
The wooden tulips I painted brown and used Mod Podge to glue different paper to.
I inked around the edges with some brown chalk ink for added texture.
I painted some wooden dowel sticks with green acrylic paint and attached the flowers to them and stuck them in the pot in between the rocks for extra support.
The tulle comes from Hobby Lobby and I just tied that around in some big bows.
Super simple!
I hope you will join us and show us your decorations/creations!!!
And remember you can always show us Birthday party decorations,
just not cards or layouts!
These are so gorgeous, Emily!! I love the tulips!! What a fabulous project!! And the flowers can be displayed all year long!! Love them!! Have a great day :)
