Decorate To Celebrate #98

Happy Wednesday!!!

It's time for another Anything Goes
Challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate!

I decided to turn my attention towards
Mother's Day :)

I made a cute little basket to fill with
some fun treats!

The basket is from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More 2.
I used some paper from American Crafts and cut it out at 5 1/4"

I decided to cut three flower tags, also from TBB&M2.
One at 1 3/4", one at 2", and one at 2 1/4".
All these papers were in my scrap stash.

I used some American Crafts twine to tie them
together and to the basket.

The stamp is from CardzTV's "Going In Circles"

Here is a different angle :)

I hope you will join us for this challenge.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Personally, I am all about the sides on Thanksgiving,
not necessarily the bird :)

But here is my project:

I used the turkey from the Animal Kingdom cartridge.
All my papers were in my scrap stash,
so they are from different packs.

My sentiment is from CardzTV "Going in Circles"

I did follow the sketch from Mojo Monday this week.

I hope that you will join us for our challenge
this week over at Cut It Up!

Cut It Up - Shape Cards FEATURING An Animal :)

Hey All!!!

Happy Friday!!!

I hope you are ready for another challenge today!
Our amazing Sarah has chosen a super fun theme too!
Here is all the info:

Cut It Up

Challenge #50
Shaped Cards with a Twist -
Must Include an Animal!

Sponsor:
$10 Gift Certificate

My Project:
Holy Moly, I first have to tell you that I am SUPER lucky
to have had my 5 year old pick out the image for my card today!
I knew the challenge was a shaped card,
but I totally missed the part about it
needing to feature an ANIMAL!
I seriously don't know how I missed that :)

Anyway, I knew I wanted to make a little boy Birthday card.
I also knew that I had some AMAZING paper
I wanted to used from My Mind's Eye called
Boy Crazy - a 6x6 pad.
Naturally, with this paper I wanted to put to use
my Robotz Cricut Cartridge because
they really were made for each other :)

So I had my son come in and pick his favorite image
from the cart and I really wanted him to choose a robot,
but he was set on using this Dog-Bot.
I am SO GLAD that he did,
because I would have totally had to re-do my card - LOL!!!
And a Dog is a Dog even if in Robot form right :)

Here is the inside:

I also used Art Philosophy for the shaped card and
arrow on the front.

I used CardzTV stamps for both my sentiments
"Going In Circles" & "This N That"

I also used some Enamel Dots from Recollections
on the front of the card.
Seriously LOVE these embellishments.

This was a super easy card to put together,
and I have a video to show you how I made it...

I hope that you will join us for this super fun challenge!
And don't be like me a completely miss using an Animal :)

I am also going to enter this in over at

CardzTV Father's Day Challenge

Happy Friday!!!
We have another challenge starting over at CardzTV
all about Father's Day!

CLICK HERE TO ORDER CARDZ TV STAMPS!

We have some amazing DT inspiration for this week's challenge
to help you create something special for the Dad's in your life :)

I don't know of any Dad that doesn't like to come home from a long day at work
and relax in a soft and comfy chair and read the paper or watch some TV.
So I decided to create something along those lines...

I used paper from Echo Park,
the Recliner is from the Summer Celebrations cartridge,
and the pearls are from Recollections.
The sketch comes from Mojo Monday.

I used stamps from CardzTV's Going In Circles and This 'N That.

I hope that you will join us and show off your projects
and remember there is always a lucky winner of one of Mary's stamp sets!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
