My Project:
Seriously, I can't get enough of the Pack Your Bags cartridge!
I have LOVED every image on this one!

So my underwater scene is cut at 4".
My water paper comes from ColorBok (Wal-Mart)
and the b/g paper was in my scrap stash,
so I don't have any info on it other than
I am pretty sure it was an open stock 12x12.

The twine is Blueberry from Trendy Twine (LOVE).
The sentiment comes from Craftin' Desert Divas
Destination Fun stamp set (also LOVE)

The scene and sentiment are popped up on some foam tape
and the top of the sentiment was cut using my
wave scissors from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).

I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the stamp.

I hope that you will join us for our
challenge over at Cut It Up!!!
It will run until Wednesday, July 23 at noon

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

My Project:

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Another week is upon us for some fun challenges!
This week it's all about Summer!

For my summer time card, I decided to create something showing
one of my most favorite things about summer....
Watermelon!
I LOVE cold, crisp watermelon - it's the BEST!!!

I have never used the Doodlecharms watermelon
so that's the image I cut out.

I used a Peachy Keen Princess face - SO CUTE!!!
And I put the watermelon on an Action Wobble - SO FUN!!!

The sentiment comes from Tara's Summer Lovin' Set
and I just LOVE the font on this one!
You can purchase this set HERE

The twine is from Trendy Twine,
I used Peppermint Stick and Twisted Lime
and if you haven't ever used this twine,
it is AWESOME!!!

I hope that you will link up with us over at Craftin' Desert Divas
and show off your Summer Time projects!

Travel Time!

Bitten by the Bug 2
YAY!!!
It's another week for another awesome challenge
over at BBTB2!

Our amazing DT sister Pam has chosen the theme of
Travel!

I don't know about you but Road Trips are one of my favorite things,
especially when the final destination is Disneyland :)

But as my husband and I have added kids to the mix,
one of the common questions we get asked is
"Are We There Yet?"

Oh, yes! The infamous question, right?

So in honor of road trips and the kids that we love so dearly,
I made this card:

I used Pack Your Bags for this fun wagon with luggage.

The twine is from Trendy Twine and the sentiment is from
Craftin' Desert Divas "Destination Fun" set.

The paper is from My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy 6x6 pack.
I did ink around the edges with ColorBox Charcoal Chalk Ink.

The card and sentiment are popped up on some foam tape
for some fun dimension.

I hope that you will join us this week
for this Travel Challenge over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Craftin' Desert Divas Daily Post - Punny "Just Plane Cute"

YAY for Saturday!!!
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend!

I am so excited to be showcasing one of
the cutest stamps from Tara's Punny Set - "Just Plane Cute"
over at Craftin' Desert Divas today!

How perfect is this sentiment for a newborn baby boy card?!?!

And that is exactly what I made:

 Here is a close up...
Even the font and size is "Just Plane Cute" :)

I am doubly excited that I will be able to use this card
next week for a baby shower I am going to :)

The plane and banner come from the New Arrival Cartridge
and I popped them up on some foam tape.
I used Memento Rich Cocco Ink for the sentiment.
The paper is from DCWV Nana's Kids stack.
The twine is from Trendy Twine
and the buttons were just in my stash.
Easy Peasy card!!!

You can purchase this stamp set HERE
Punny

I am also going to enter this in over at Little Scrap Pieces.

Cut It Up #46 - Summer Vacation

#46 Summer Vacation

Sponsors:
A Card Kit

AND

Sample pack of 3 colors of twine

My Project:
We were so lucky as the DT to get
the sample pack from Trendy Twine
to showcase on our projects!
LOVE this twine!!!
I decided to use the bright yellow twine and make a "sun"...
well, I tried to make a sun :)

I am also LOVING the Pack Your Bags cartridge
and wanted to use this fun beach scene.
I also wanted to use one of the fun stamps from
Craftin' Desert Divas Summer Lovin' stamp set
 "Life's A Beach".

Most of my pattern paper was from my scrap stash,
but my b/g paper is from American Crafts.
Michael's had an awesome sale over the Memorial Day
weekend for their paper stacks - $5 each!
Needless to say I picked up one of each that they had :)

Anyway, I feel that this card speaks summer vacation
and I hope that you will show off your summer projects
you create for this fun challenge
over at Cut It Up!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!
