BBTB2 - It's Halloween Time!

Happy Monday!

Today over at BBTB2 we have
a Halloween Themed challenge.
But there have been some changes over at BBTB2
where we are now an "inspiration only" blog.
You don't need to link up your projects :)

I decided to use the cute ghost from Simply Charmed
and the awesome bat from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2.

The paper was all in my stash but I am sure it is from
the Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).

I used a fun glitter dot in the corner for added bling :)

The sentiment is from Joy's Life "Halloween Puns"
and of course I used some Peachy Keen Face Stamps
for my two "fiends".

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Well, I don't know how, but I have managed to
get some crafting done for the challenge starting over at

My Project:
So my Sister has a birthday coming up next month
so I thought I would make her a cute purse and
fill it with either cash or a gift card.

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More 2
and cut the Lipstick Container at 10 1/4.

The paper is from Crete Paper/American Crafts
I used a twisty tie from CTMH as the handle.
I had a cute brad to use for the "snap" and
just added some fun embellishments I had in my stash.

I hope my sister will think this is as cute as I do,
but I'm sure she will like what's inside more :)

Come and join us over at Cut It Up for this fun challenge!

Decorate To Celebrate #107 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!!!

Welcome to another Anything Goes challenge over at

In honor of school starting today,
I decided to create a Milk Carton Treat Box.

I loved school lunch just for
chocolate milk in the little cartons :)

My project:
I cut this box out of TBBM2.
If you don't have this cartridge and are planning on
buying it, my advice to you is to buy the scoring blade
along with it.
IT WILL SAVE YOU!!!

Anyway, my paper is from American Crafts
and the metal flower embellishment is from Freckled Fawn.
I cut the tag out of Once Upon A Princess and stamped
it with a Craftin' Desert Divas sentiment.

It is all ready to be filled with sweet treats :)

I hope you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate!

Decorate To Celebrate #98

Happy Wednesday!!!

It's time for another Anything Goes
Challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate!

I decided to turn my attention towards
Mother's Day :)

I made a cute little basket to fill with
some fun treats!

The basket is from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More 2.
I used some paper from American Crafts and cut it out at 5 1/4"

I decided to cut three flower tags, also from TBB&M2.
One at 1 3/4", one at 2", and one at 2 1/4".
All these papers were in my scrap stash.

I used some American Crafts twine to tie them
together and to the basket.

The stamp is from CardzTV's "Going In Circles"

Here is a different angle :)

I hope you will join us for this challenge.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Cricut Letters or Phrases

Happy Monday!!!

Bitten by the Bug 2

Today over at BBTB2,
the wonderful Pam has chosen a super fun challenge
to use letters or phrases from a Cricut Cartridge!

So for my project, I decided to make a
Valentine's Card and use one of the
phrases from the TBB&M2 Cart!
LOVE the phrases on this cartridge!!!

And I decided to make a shaker card :)

The heart is from George, the Silhouette feature.
I cut it at 3" 12 times out of white cardstock,
then once out of pink glitter paper.
I cut the regular heart cut twice,
once out of red glitter for the background,
and once out of acetate for the cover.

The phrase was cut at 1 1/4".

The paper is from My Mind's Eye.

The pearls are from Michael's.

Here is a close up of the beads, sequins, and glitter hearts
for the shaker:

Super fun to make and super easy too!

I hope you will join us this week
for our Phrases/Letters challenge over at BBTB2!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Anything Goes!

Happy Monday!

Bitten by the Bug 2

Today over at BBTB2 we have a new challenge starting -
Anything Goes!

Create any project featuring any Cricut die cut.

Here is my project:

So I wanted to play around a little with the
Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More 2 cartridge because
I finally ordered the Scoring Blade.
Now, I don't know about some of the boxes on this cart -
they seem ridiculously difficult and some don't make any sense,
but I really like a lot of the ones they have.
And I really LOVE the tags on this cart.
I haven't played around with the phrases
because I don't have the pens yet,
so that is next on my list to get.

Anyway, this is one of the treat bags
as well as one of the tags on the cart.
The scoring blade really does make a difference
when putting these together,
but I have found that I need to use Multi-Cut 4
to get the score lines to be the most beneficial
in folding the boxes up.

I used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment
and some twine from American Crafts.
The paper is from DCWV Pocket Full of Posies.

I like the size of this treat bag
and can't wait to give it out :)

I hope you will join us for our Anything Goes
challenge over at BBTB2 this week!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Prize: $15 Gift Certificate
Thank you so much for your generosity!!

Here is my project:

My sister's birthday was yesterday and I
ordered her some fun eyeshadows from Younique.

Anyway, I wanted to package it super fun
so I created a present tag from TBB&M2
and a sentiment tag from Art Philosophy.

Purple is her favorite color,
so I found some fun purple glitter paper from The Paper Studio
and fancy pattern paper from DCWV.

Added some purple tulle and whalla!

Close up of the present tag

The sentiment tag is stamped with one of Tara's
Say It Big stamps "Happy Birthday".

Another view.

Cut It Up Challenge #56 - Purple, Orange, Lime Green with Black

Cut It Up

Use Purple, Orange, Lime Green & Black

One Stamp Set

$20 Coupon Code

My Project:

Hey!!!
Happy Friday!!!

Today over at Cut It Up we have a super fun challenge
to help you get ready for Halloween!
But you don't have to necessarily create a Halloween project!
Just create a project using the colors
Purple, Orange, Lime Green and Black.
So yes, those are your typical Halloween colors,
but if you check out all the DT projects,
you can see that not all of them are Halloween related!

Mine of course is :)

I loved the sketch over at Mojo Monday this week,
so I have followed that and will enter this card for their challenge.
I will also enter this in over at

My papers come from lots of different paper packs,
so I am sorry that I don't know the names,
but I think there is some Basic Grey paper,
Ki paper and some open stock.

The bat comes from TBB&M2.
There is a fun Halloween tag on that cartridge,
and this is the negative image that is left over
LOVE IT!!!
So I just adhered the body down with a glue dot
and the wings are flapping up.

The scallop border comes from Elegant Edges.

My twine is from American Crafts and We R Memory Keepers.
The enamel dots are from Recollections.
My sentiment comes from a Studio G $1 Set I picked up
at JoAnn's.

So come on over to Cut It Up and join
us for our color challenge!

Thanks for checkin' in!

Decorate To Celebrate Challenge #85 Anything Goes

Yay for Wednesday!!!
Half way through the week, right?!?!

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate
it is our 2nd "Anything Goes" challenge
but our 85th challenge overall!

For my project, I decided to create
a Halloween Home Decor "BOO" Banner:

I used Cricut Classic Font Cartridge for the letters
and cut them at 11 1/2" out of some chipboard.
I then cut the letters out of some fun Halloween paper
to cover the chipboard.
I just used my ATG gun to adhere them together.
I inked up all the edges with Slate Ink from
Close To My Heart.

I then used TBB&M2 for the bats, Designer's Calendar
for the spider, and Wrap It Up for the pumpkin.
I adhered the bats and spider with glue dots
and the pumpkin is on an Action Wobble.

I ran some purple tulle behind the letters
and tied some fun gold ric-rac ribbon around the ends.

Here is a closer pic...

I hope that you will join us over at Decorate To Celebrate
and remember...
Anything Goes!!!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

FCCB - Tag You're It!

Howdy All!

Happy Monday and Welcome to another challenge over at FCCB!!!

Challenge #228 Tag You're It

Create a Tag or Include a Tag on Your Project

This Weeks Sponsor

Crafter's Companion Prize Package which includes
4 sets of alcohol markers that have 6 markers in each set,
a 20 pack of alcohol marker paper,
some marker trays and one of the Spectrum Noir DVD's
To qualify for the prize,
be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project
and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

My Project:

Are we seriously already thinking about Halloween?!?!
Why YES we are!

I used Tags Bags Boxes & More 2 for this fun Halloween Tag.
I cut it at 4" once out of chipboard and once out of some
Halloween paper from The Paper Studio's All Seasons Pack
from Hobby Lobby.

My stamp is from a $1 set I purchased at JoAnn's and
I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut the sentiment tag from Elegant Edges and
used a black enamel dot from Recollections.

I had a circle scrap from my stash that worked perfectly with
this card, and I think the paper is from a Ki paper pack I
picked up at Wal-Mart.

I inked around all my edges with Slate Ink from
Close To My Heart.
I topped it off with some black tulle and ric rac ribbon.

I am not that great at Halloween projects,
but this turned out pretty well I think :)
