BBTB2 - Sympathy Card

Happy Monday!!!

Welcome to another challenge over at BBTB2!

Bitten by the Bug 2

For this week's challenge, Sharon has chosen to
showcase Sympathy cards.
So be sure to check out the DT's projects!

Here is my card:

I used the Serenade cartridge for this lovely flower,
and Elegant Edges for the mat cut.

I ran the mat through the Birds and Swirls embossing folder
in my Cuttlebug.

My pattern paper was from my stash, I don't know where it's from
other than my good crafty friend Michelle who sent it to me.

My silk ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

The sentiment is from Craftin' Desert Divas "Simply Said" set.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 for this week's challenge!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - Music Speaks

Welcome to another challenge for BBTB2!!!

Bitten by the Bug 2

This week we want to see your projects that have to do with music -
use a note or a clef on your cards/layouts.

I used Elegant Edges, Serenade and Paisley for my "Just A Note" card and even have a video for you to see how it all came together - so I hope you'll watch!

I am also linking this up over at DLART Thursday Challenge.

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Frame It! FCCB Challenge #166

Yeah for another fun week of challenges! And over at FCCB we are challenging you to Frame It!  I was excited for this challenge because I have never used a frame on a card!  And as I was trying to figure out if my mat should or should not show from outside under the frame, I thought, there is no right or wrong when you are creating - you can just do whatever!  I decided to leave the mat and just round the corners.  I used Elegant Edges for the frame and I used Serenade for my bird.  I recently added Serenade to my library of cartridges and I really love the flourish on this cart.  I added some bling to the frame and stamped a small sentiment "thinking of you".  The patterned paper is from a 6x6 paper pack from ColorBok (Wal-Mart).  I hope you join us this week over at FCCB!!!
