BBTB2 - 3D Projects

Happy Monday!

Welcome to another challenge over at BBTB2!

This week the challenge is all about 3D Projects...
SO FUN!!!

I decided to make a cute little pillow box from
Something to Celebrate.

My paper is from American Crafts.

I also decided to add a 3D butterfly.
I used Art Philosophy to cut out this cute image
and just popped up the
middle section of the layer to create the effect.
I used a rhinestone for embellishment.

My sentiment is from a stamp set from
Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2 this week!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

BBTB2 - National Gum Drop Day!

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a "Lovely" Valentine's Day!

Today over at BBTB2, I am hosting this week's challenge :)

I decided to look up what the "National Day" was for today
and it is National Gum Drop Day - LOVE it!

So I decided we should all use candy on our projects.
I kind of like candy ;)

I used Something to Celebrate for these 3 pieces of candy.

All my paper was from my scrap stash -
I am really trying to use my scraps
there are SO MANY!!!

My sentiment is combined from two Fiskars sets.

The layout for my card is from Mary over at CardzTV.
I love her and her ideas, she's amazing!

I hope you will join us over at BBTB2
for this week's challenge!

I am really trying to be better at using them,
I have a bazillion :)

I used Enamel Dots from Recollections
and the sentiment is from Fiskars.

BBTB2 - Shape Cards

Happy Monday!!!

Well, this is my second week back to work and I am adjusting okay,
but my time for crafting has taken a toll :(

However, I was able to find time to put this fun shape card together
for the challenge that is starting over at BBTB2!!!

I am hosting this week over there and thought it would
be fun to see different shape card for different occasions.

I used Something To Celebrate for this present shape card.
Perfect for a birthday card :)

Here is a side view.

My papers come from American Crafts and the sentiment
is from a Fiskars mini set.
I used some twine to tie the tag in place.

Decorate To Celebrate #104 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!!!

I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far!

Today over at Decorate To Celebrate
another Anything Goes challenge has started.

I wanted to figure out some features on a couple
of my cartridges, and I had NO IDEA that
I had a ribbon award feature!

So that is what I decided to create for this challenge.
I have Girl's Camp coming up and we, as leaders, always talk about
giving awards out to the Girls for different reasons.
I thought these ribbons would be perfect to make and hand out.

This feature is available on the
Something To Celebrate cartridge
under the Decor Option.
There are a few different styles of ribbons too.

The star style I used was perfect with the paper I chose.
It comes from Twinkle Twinkle by DCWV.

I had a lot of fun figuring this out and would encourage
you to take a closer look at some of your cartridges
for some fabulous surprises!!!!

Thanks for checkin' in!!!

Craftin' Desert Divas - Shape Card Linky Party

Shape Card Linky Party

Sponsors:
Too Cute By Jessica $20

Lovebug Creations $5.

My Project:
This Cupcake Shaped Card comes from the Something To Celebrate Cricut Cartridge.  There is a Card Creative Feature on this cart, and I LOVE it!  This adorable little cupcake card was cut at 5" but the layering is cut at 5 1/2".  The yellow frosting is cut with some glitter paper and looks FABULOUS in real life - this picture doesn't do it any justice.  I decided to emboss the underneath frosting with Divine Swirls.  The rest of the paper I found in my scrap stash so I am not sure where it's from, but I do love the pink polka dot as the wrapper.  I hope you will join us for our Shape Card Linky Party at Craftin' Desert Divas and please make sure you check out the DT's cards - they are AMAZING!!!

Friends Are Forever...

Hope you are able to watch my video to see how this card came together!

Something To Celebrate, Cricut, Friendship Card

I created this card for a bunch of challenges that I will list below.  I bought a new paper pack from Hobby Lobby during one of their 50% off sales, it is the Khloe Lane pack and it is super fun paper!  I wanted to use it for this card so this is what I came up with some of the different patterns from that pack.  I used Something To Celebrate and George to cut the cute little birds and the two circles.  My banners I just free-handed along with the triangles/corners.  I attempted some faux stitching, my first time, and it was a lot easier than I had anticipated.  I like how it turned out.  The embellishments came from Michael's; a pack of green paper flowers and a pack of flat back pearls for $1.50 each - can't beat that!  My stamp comes from a Fiskar's set and I used ColorBox Chestnut Ink.  The circles and birds are popped up using some foam tape.  The inside is super simple, I just made some more banners from the scraps left over and put a mat together for handwriting a little note.  I also did faux stitching on the inside to carry over the look.  I am planning on sending this card to a friend of mine who recently moved out of state that I have known for over 25 years - so basically forever!

Here are the challenges:

BBTB2 - Use a Bird
Craftin' Desert Divas - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Use Pearls
Little Scrap Pieces - Anything Goes
HIMCR - Thread/Stitching
CardzTV - Pop It Up
Mojo Monday Sketch

Celebrate A Happy Birthday!

Here is a card I made up for a sketch challenge over at My Creative Time.  I used Playtime for the cute little boy and Something to Celebrate for the balloons.  I did use the Flip option for the balloons.  The paper is from DCWV Birthday Wishes 6x6 stack.  I still don't have any Peachy Keen Stamps to make the faces super cute, but he still turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!
