Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! I hope you are all wearing GREEN today or at least have green on the brain because this week over at FCCB we want to see all of your projects featuring this fabulous color!  I decided to create a "patchwork" card using some fun green pattern papers from Hobby Lobby.  I used Kate's ABC's to cut the scallop squares at 1 1/4".  The shamrocks came from Celebrate with Flourish and I cut them out at 2".  My card base is 5x5 white cardstock.  I had a couple green buttons in my stash and added them for balance.  My stamp comes from a combination of Stampabilities and Studio G.  I hope that you will join us this week and be sure to get your GREEN on!!!

How cute is this digital image from The Paper Shelter? I LOVE it!!!  A girl after my own heart!!!

For this week's Color It! Challenge I decided to use some colored pencils and I think it turned out okay.  My papers are from my scrap stash, so I can't be certain, but I think I bought a .99 cent 12x12 pack from Walmart that these were in.  I used some American Crafts twine and my sentiment is from a Cupcake Stamp set I bought from a local craft store, but are now out of business.  I cut my mats out with Spellbinder's and my Cuttlebug.  I hope you will join us over at HIMCR this week for our Color It! Challenge and be sure to check out the Paper Shelter's selection of digi's - they are AMAZING!!!

Lucky Turtle Treat Box

I was so excited to create a project for a BUNCH of challenges this week! I have put together a fun treat box for my son's preschool teacher.  I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and cut the Nut Cup out of some green card stock at 5 1/4".  Then I cut the same thing out of some Paper Studio pattern paper at 5" so I could cut up the sections and glue them on the sides.  I used Create A Critter 2 for the lucky turtle cut at 2" and I popped him up with some foam tape.  I embossed the shell with Swiss Dots and cut the hat and buckle out of glitter paper (can't really tell in the pic).  I also cut the shamrock (2") from Create A Critter 2, just the shadow cut on the same page as the turtle.  My stamp is from CardzTV "Happy Days" and I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The ribbon is from American Crafts. Just finished it up by filling it with some "grass" and gold Hershey Nuggets. I really like how this turned out.

The challenges I am entering this into are

BBTB2 - St. Patrick's Day

The start of a new week is upon us, and with it a new challenge over at

Bitten by the Bug 2

And it's all about St. Patrick's Day!!!

What a fun holiday! Do you always play along with the "pinching"? It was fun in elementary school, right?  Well, even if I don't go out looking for people who aren't wearing green,
I do like to decorate my house for it.

So I created an EASY PEASY home decor piece!
I just buy 4x4 ceramic tiles from Home Depot cut a piece of decorative pattern paper, Mod Podge that right on the tile and then figure out what cut I will add to it.  In this instance, I just cut the phrase "St. Patrick's Day" from Designer's Calendar out of some fun green glitter paper and used Mod Podge to glue that on too.
SO SIMPLE, yet so festive.

Here is a close up of the glitter paper - still kind of hard to see :)

And here is my little table that I decorated with some other crafts and cards

I hope that you will join us this week over at BBTB2 for our fun challenge of St. Patty's Day!

My Project:
Welcome to another Super Scraps Saturday!!! I LOVE going through my scrap stash and discovering AWESOME papers that have long been forgotten!!!  I was so excited to find this flowering Spring paper to create a bright and beautiful Spring card!  I used Birthday Bash for the scalloped circle card shape, cut at 5 1/4"; and Once Upon A Princess for the butterfly, cut at 2 1/2".  My stamp is from a Fiskars mini set and I used flat back pearls from Hobby Lobby's The Paper Studio.  I followed the sketch from Die Cuttin' Divas so I will be linking this up over there, and Cuttin' and Stampin' has a challenge to use a butterfly so this will be shared over there too.  I hope that you will be able to join in the HIMCR challenge this week and be sure to check out all the DT projects - they are fabulous, as always!
